WORLDWIDE BIRTHDAY INVITATION · 24 OCTOBER 2026

TEN YEARS.
STILL ROLLING.

One planet. One pink birthday. You’re invited.

From KIBICoin in 2016 to ScooterCoin today: the same blockchain, a decade of blocks, and absolutely no intention of acting our age.

Happy 10th birthday, ScooterCoin! Ten years. Same chain. Still rolling.

Set your clock. Bring a scooter. Tell the planet.
Celebrating together, wherever you are.

1024. A very nerdy birthday.

24 October 2016 → 24 October 2026. Ten years, one continuing blockchain.

The original name, KIBICoin (KIC), came from kibi: 210 = 1024. The launch date carried the same 10/24 wink. ScooterCoin carries on that very chain, so the birthday comes with it.

KIBICoin was named for the binary prefix. It has no connection to the company KIBI or products bearing that company’s name.

Maximum Hype. Modest Ambitions.

Under the pink paint

ScooterCoin began as KIBICoin in 2016. The documented premine and early mining totalled 6,419,200 coins: 5,000,000 went to an Aricoin swap through NovaExchange; the remainder was sent to a proof-of-burn address. Read the premine, swap and burn record. The name changed; the chain continued. Today anyone can run a node, inspect the code or participate in staking under the same network rules. No central operator hands out permission. The branding nods to The Fakefluencer; the running blockchain is quite real.

Receipts. Even memes need accounting.

  • Block 2: 4,000,150 coins = 4,000,000 premine + 150 ordinary reward. Check the raw transaction.
  • Early mining, blocks 1 through 16,128: 2,419,200 coins in ordinary rewards, plus the 4,000,000 premine. All 16,128 coinbase transactions checked: 6,419,200 total.
  • Block 24,973 (transaction): 0.10000000 sent to the published burn address.
  • Block 28,592 (transaction): 1,419,199.98999999 sent to the same address. Both referenced burn outputs remain unspent as checked on 20 October 2026.

The chain proves the block amounts and transfers. The original announcement documents the early solo-mining and NovaExchange swap purpose. The explorer now preserves the original P2PK outputs on its block and transaction pages. Its supply checkpoint includes the premine and subtracts unspent outputs at the declared burn address; historical address balances remain under verification.

Wallets. Ready to roll.

Version 0.20.1 for Windows.
64-bit recommended. A 32-bit build is available for older systems.

The Windows installers are unsigned. Keep a wallet backup before upgrading.

The world is invited.
The scooter is optional.

Ten years deserves a little noise. Join us on 24 October at 10:24 UTC and help paint the internet pink.

ScooterCoin: decentralised consensus. Highly centralised enthusiasm for pink.

Open source. Open participation. Documented premine, swap and burn history. Nobody can promise a price, a listing or a moon landing.

Roadmap-ish

A Long Chain. A Short To-Do List.

October 2016

KIBICoin begins with Proof of Work. A disclosed premine funds the NovaExchange Aricoin swap; the unused balance is burned. The chain continues today.

October 2017

Still producing blocks. Apparently this was more than a weekend project.

October 2021

The ScooterCoin era: new name, spectacular branding, same continuing chain.

12 May 2022

Proof of Stake begins at block 385,022, following the last Proof of Work block, 385,021. The old mining pool retires.

2025 & today

A PulseChain token and planned conversion were announced in August 2025. Current maintenance here focuses on the original PoS chain: wallets, explorer and open code. No new swap terms or launch date are promised on this page.
